The Walls Between Islam and the Arab

The Arab lives in a world of perpetual delusion.  Right is wrong, real is not real, truth is a conspiracy against him.  The Deen is Not Islam, Sunnah is an innovation, and his advisers are The Enemy.  He is detached from the Imams of Deen, but cries out for Leadership !  He mourns the loss of his Respect, but refuses the effort required to regain it.

Allah has warned him:

If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you!

Should the Arab ever decide to return to Deen, what are the barriers he will have to break through?

  • Arrogance (al-kibr).  It is universally known that the Arab is the most arrogant of all the nations.  And Rasulullah has said:
  • Racism and Nationalism.  It is universally known that the Arab is among the foulest of racists and nationalists on earth today.  And Rasulullah has said:
  • Stubbornness.  It is universally known that the Arab is the most stubborn of all jackasses on earth.  And Rasulullah has said:
  • Argumentativeness.  It is universally known that no one on earth spends as much time arguing as the Arab.  And Rasulullah has said:
  • Materialism.  The Arab counts success by square footage, lavishness, and brand name.  The mansion, the furnishings, the Mercedes.  And Rasulullah has said:
  • Heedlessness.  You talk to him, plea with him, warn him, and he can not move himself for the sake of Allah.
  • Self-sufficiency.  The Arab considers his weak intellect enough to understand the Book of Allah and the Sunnah. This in itself guarantees he will never be guided to rectitude.  The Sunnah of Allah is to leave people to themselves, if they consider themselves adequate.
